Choose-your-own jokbal combo with soy garlic pork at The Jokbal, Guro
The Jokbal Sindorim Main Branch is a jokbal (pig's trotter) and bossam restaurant on the first floor of a shopping complex near Sindorim Station in Guro, Seoul. For a late Sunday lunch, the writer built a 'choose-your-own combo of 3' with basic jokbal, soy garlic jokbal, and bossam, plus a small makguksu (buckwheat noodles), and found the basic jokbal especially tender and the complimentary cold jokbal salad better than expected. The portion was too much for two people, so the leftovers were packed to go, along with a 1-hour free parking ticket for the underground lot.
