The writer ate solo, finishing a clear broth piled with minari (water dropwort) and beef, paired with self-serve banchan like pollock salad and pickles, then went back for a second plate of chili because the ssamjang was so good. Friendly service from the owner made it an easy solo meal worth repeating whenever a warm bowl is needed in Gangnam.
