Cleansing balm for dry skin: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal

How was the texture on dry skin during seasonal weather?

I tried it during seasonal weather, when skin dryness was on my mind. It came with a spoon in a neat black-and-white design, and as expected from a product containing charcoal, the balm itself was black.

I usually prefer sherbet-like cleansing balms, and this one also felt like it melted softly on contact with body heat. When I rolled it over my skin with a light touch, I could use it without any stiffness.

How did it remove makeup?

After scooping out one spoonful and rolling it over the back of my hand with eyeshadow on it, I also used it on my made-up face. I felt that it emulsified relatively well, and my makeup was removed afterward.

I rolled it gently around my nose as if massaging it. In winter, separate exfoliation could sometimes feel irritating, so I liked that the cleansing process seemed to smooth my skin texture.

How did my skin feel after cleansing, and what should you watch for?

Right after cleansing, my skin seemed moisturized with a natural glow left behind. Tightness after washing usually concerned me, but I felt less of it after using this product.

Because the balm is black, black water could splash during cleansing. On days when I wore light-colored clothes, I thought it would be best to take care not to get the product on them.
