Jeonju BBQ restaurant where staff grill beef short ribs: Ubookgeum
Ubookgeum Saenggalbi Seosin Branch is a charcoal-grilled beef and pork rib restaurant on the main Ongoeul-ro road in Seosin-dong, Jeonju. For dinner we ordered one plate of beef saenggalbi (fresh, unmarinated short ribs), and staff at Ubookgeum Saenggalbi grilled the LA-style short ribs from start to finish and deboned them, served with a special sauce, shiitake wasabi and self-serve myeongi (wild garlic leaves), plus doenjang jjigae and steamed egg in the basic table setting. With two hours of parking covered at the K parking lot a one-minute walk away, it works easily for a family gathering or a company dinner.
