Hapjeong Korean restaurant with freshly boiled bossam: Pyeongidambaek
Pyeongidambaek Ppyeo Kalguksu Main Branch is a Korean restaurant between Hapjeong and Mangwon stations in Mapo, Seoul, serving bossam suyuk (boiled pork with wraps) and ppyeo kalguksu (pork bone knife-cut noodle soup). A couple ordered the medium bossam suyuk for 42,000 won and added anchovy kalguksu for 5,000 won, and unlike delivery bossam, the pork was boiled to order and came out tender and clean-tasting. For two people looking for bossam around Hapjeong or Mangwon, Pyeongidambaek is worth the trip.
