Hongdae naengmyeon restaurant with a hanok daecheongmaru hall: Anok
Anok is a Korean restaurant set in a hanok (traditional Korean house) a 7-minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongik University Station in Hongdae, Seoul. Over a late lunch with two friends, Anok's table held two Pyongyang naengmyeon (buckwheat cold noodles), a clear gomtang (beef bone soup) and braised pork tail, balancing mild buckwheat noodles, clean soup and a sweet-spicy tail dish. Even a diner who doesn't care for noodles called Anok a 100% return visit.
