Hwagok-dong live octopus and mini sashimi for three: Eochongye 1beonji
Eochongye 1beonji is a sashimi restaurant in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo, Seoul, a 7-minute walk from Hwagok Station Exit 7. Three of us came for live octopus and ordered the mini sashimi platter (around 32,000 won), live octopus and fish bone spicy soup, which came with 5 sauces and unlimited self-serve side dishes. For a mini size that spread is great value, and the fish bone spicy soup at Eochongye 1beonji was the best spicy fish soup I have ever had.
