Late dinner after a baseball game in Gwangsan, Gwangju: Misikga

Misikga Imokase Cheomdan Direct Store is a Korean restaurant in Gwangsan, Gwangju, serving a 17-dish course meal called imokase. Three diners, including a child, came in late after a baseball game and ordered the 3-person set (₩30,000 per person), working through samhap bossam (three-way pork wrap), pollock hangover soup, raw beef tartare, braised pomfret, octopus fried rice, and injeolmi snow ice — food kept coming fast even right before last order. A solid pick for a late-night group dinner.

Cheese katsu and mushroom cream pasta in Buk-gu, Gwangju: Filling

Filling Donkatsu Gwangju Cheomdan Direct Store is a pork cutlet restaurant in Buk-gu, Gwangju, selected among Korea's top 100 katsu spots by the Daedon Yeojido guide. The 200-hour aged giant cheese katsu (₩18,500) kept its cheese stretchy until the last bite, and the mushroom cream pasta (₩19,800) had a rich sauce soaked into rigatoni. With a self bar, group and dog-friendly rooms, and building parking, it's a solid family dinner pick.
