Terrace restaurant in Sangmu, Gwangju: bottarga pasta at Camel Orzo
Camel Orzo is an Italian dining restaurant on the first floor of Urban Peak in Sangmu, Seo-gu, Gwangju, newly opened by an owner-chef with 25 years at Maekmundong. Visiting with a friend who came down for the holiday, the writer ordered the bottarga cuttlefish pasta, the fig fresco pizza with burrata cheese added, and two drinks of the day, enjoying a lemon-scented oil pasta and pizza dipped in honey. With about 20 seats on the terrace alone, Camel Orzo suits a pre-wedding gathering or a date.
