Ari Gyegok Jonggak is a Korean bar in Jongno, Seoul, a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Jonggak Station, decorated like a waterfall and valley. This visit ordered muddy duck pancake (₩19,900) and perilla chicken hot pot (₩23,900), paired with Wangju, a traditional rice wine said to trace back to Empress Myeongseong's family. The crispy duck pancake and rich perilla broth made a great combo, and it's a solid pick for a different kind of night out in Jongno.
