Baengni Gomtang is a newly opened Korean beef gomtang (clear beef bone soup) restaurant on Wausan-ro 29-gil in Mapo, Seoul, near Hongdae. Two diners shared one beef gomtang at 12,000 won and one special soy-sauce yukhoe bibimbap (raw beef rice bowl) at 16,000 won, and the crunchy gungchae (crisp lettuce stem) in the bibimbap plus the squid jeotgal (salted fermented squid) side spooned over the soup were the highlights.
