What are the cleansing balm texture and components like?

This balm product comes in a matte black cylindrical container. Inside the lid are a spatula and an inner cover, so I did not have to put my hand directly into the product when scooping it out.

The texture scooped up smoothly, and I did not feel the roughness from charcoal particles that I had worried about before using it. To me, it felt soft, like sherbet.

How did I use it to remove makeup?

I used it as a first cleanse on days when I wore makeup. After applying the balm to my skin, I gently massaged it until it melted into an oil with my body heat. Then I wet my hands and massaged once more to emulsify it.

After emulsifying and rinsing, my makeup came off without much residue. I massaged a little more carefully around my nose and on areas where texture concerned me, and afterward those areas felt as though they had softened.

How did it feel when dryness and skin texture were concerns?

I used it because winter dryness, skin texture, blackheads, and whiteheads were concerns. Rather than feeling harsh during cleansing, I liked that it felt moisturizing and gentle.
