Why I packed a whole jar for our Sapporo honeymoon

I brought the whole jar along and have been using it every day for daily moisture care during our Sapporo trip!!

Sapporo was the first honeymoon destination we left for after the wedding! Going somewhere even colder on a cold winter day, haha. A winter trip to snowy Sapporo was bound to be a big challenge for me, since I really feel the cold and have thin, sensitive skin.

Thankfully, the snow fell just prettily enough and the weather was fairly good, so we enjoyed every stop and all of our plans. But the cold wind was strong, so I had to pay more attention than usual to moisturizing before bed. That is why I brought along a brand-new whole jar of First Edition Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Cream!

First Edition Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Cream is said to be a high-moisture cream for daily brightening and moisturizing care, with hyaluronic acid, oat kernel extract, and sweet almond extract as its main ingredients.

We had to leave just two days after the wedding, and I was honestly so tired that my whole body ached, so I packed for the honeymoon even more casually than usual, haha. I would have to pack it all back up to come home anyway, so I just tossed in some cosmetics. I decided to handle skin moisture care with just this hyaluronic acid moisturizer, so instead of bringing lots of other products, I brought one whole jar, hahaha.

On the bottom, there is the product expiration date and a seal sticker for a new product. Once opened, you can see the mirror-like lid and the moisture cream inside the container.

Even from the outside, the moisture cream in its opaque glass jar looks soft and packed with hydration.

One thing I really loved while traveling was that Japanese hotel rooms are not especially spacious and there was no separate magnifying mirror. But the product lid reflected like a mirror, so I could use it as a mirror while applying the moisture cream!

How it felt applied generously throughout the trip

After opening the lid and removing the protective cap that prevents the product from spilling out, you can see the soft, moisture-packed cream texture just by looking at it.

Throughout the Sapporo trip, my thin, sensitive skin became even more sensitive from the cold wind, and the indoor-outdoor temperature difference was intense, so my redness never really had a chance to settle down. So I spread First Edition Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Cream on generously, like a hydrating face mask!

It is packed with non-sticky moisture, so even when I apply a lot, it does not feel sticky. It feels as though only the moisture absorbs quickly and relieves inner dryness, so I have been using it daily throughout the trip!

The trip is fairly long and it is winter weather, so in an unfamiliar place, my skin would normally flare up even more. But it has stayed in good condition as if I were at home. Maybe because I apply it generously like a moisture mask every day and let it absorb, there is no tightness inside my skin, and the surface seems soothed, smooth, and soft.
