Marine City Chinese restaurant, extra rice with ganjajang: Bueokgan
Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is an ocean-view Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Adelis commercial building at 51 Marine City 3-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. Straight after a business trip in Busan, the writer came with her husband and two children for poached-egg ganjajang at 10,000 won, spicy poached-egg octopus rice bowl at 16,000 won and jalapeño cream shrimp at 22,000 won, plus a bowl of rice, for a total of 49,000 won for four; so much pork belly and onion were left in the ganjajang sauce that she ordered extra rice to mix in. Between the window-seat ocean view and the neat plating, Bueokgan Chinese made for a satisfying family dinner out.
