Hwaseong room dining with kids for mackerel and pork set menus

Hwadamga is a wood-fired fish and hot-plate Korean restaurant that recently opened in Bongdam-eup, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi. Visiting on a Saturday evening with kids, the writer ordered two servings each of the wood-fired mackerel set and the charcoal-grilled pork set, then loaded up on seaweed soup, japchae, meatballs and caprese from a self-serve bar with about 20 side dishes. At ₩16,000 per set with private rooms available, it works equally well for family dinners and group gatherings.
