Pohang restaurant for a late-night second stop: squid mulhoe at Ppwang Mulhoe
Ppwang Mulhoe is a mulhoe (raw seafood in cold broth) and squid restaurant on the main road by Yeongildae Beach in Pohang, Gyeongbuk. Visiting past 8:30pm as a second stop on a birthday trip, the writer ordered squid mulhoe, squid pajeon, and fried squid, and the squid's springy texture with no fishy smell exceeded expectations. With an unlimited self bar and pink interior, it works well for families and as a second-round spot alike.
