Group lunch for three at Todamok, a kalguksu restaurant in Ansan
Todamok is a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) and bossam (boiled pork with wraps) restaurant with a hanok exterior behind Seonbu High School in Seonbu-dong, Ansan, Gyeonggi. Three of us, meeting for the first time in five years, shared the two-person kalguksu bossam set (roe-and-milt kalguksu, chicken kalguksu, half bossam) for 39,000 won, plus a potato pancake for 13,000 won and dumplings for 7,000 won, and the portions were generous enough to split three ways. With wide group tables and a large parking lot in front of the building, Todamok is an easy pick for a get-together lunch.
