How did I use it on sensitive, dry skin?

Because my skin is sensitive, I have used balm or milk formulas rather than cleansing oils. I scooped out this product with a spatula, placed it on my hand, and spread it over my face. I found it better to scoop it onto my hand first, as the firm, clumped texture could fall off if applied directly to the face.

What were the texture and scent like?

It was a firm balm that did not run easily, then melted softly with body heat. I was satisfied because my skin did not feel especially dry after cleansing. The scent was not strong and reminded me of a subtle charcoal scent, so it felt less overwhelming to me as someone who does not prefer strongly scented cleansing products.

Was it convenient to pack for travel?

It came in a flat container and was meant to be scooped out. Since the texture did not tend to run, it was easy to pack and use while traveling, and I did use it during a trip.

How did I pair it with my makeup cleansing routine?

I do not usually wear heavy makeup, so I used this cleansing balm on its own. On days when I double-cleansed, I used a cleansing foam as well.
