Cleansing foam for dry sensitive skin: HEEDA Charcoal Foam
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Hydrating Cleansing Foam is a low-pH cleansing foam I tried for winter morning cleansing on dry, sensitive skin in Korea. Its gray texture and charcoal scent stood out, and the soft foam felt less tightening after washing, though I used it as a second cleanse on heavier-makeup days.

How did I use it on dry, sensitive skin?

My skin tends to be dry and sensitive, so I do not usually cleanse too intensely. In winter, I apply plenty of oil at night before bed, so water alone felt insufficient in the morning. I was looking for a cleanser that felt moisturizing and tried this product.

What were the texture and scent like?

Because it contains Jirisan charcoal extract, the cleanser had a gray color. I could also smell charcoal, and as I worked it into my skin, the foam became almost white. The foam felt soft, so I did not find it very irritating while washing.

Did I use it as a single cleanse after light makeup?

On days when I wore the sunscreen and light color makeup I use every day, I cleansed once with this foam. On days with heavier makeup, I also used it as a second cleanse, and my skin felt moisturized rather than tight afterward.

How did it feel after cleansing?

The product description says it contains hyaluronic acid, aqua ceramide, and Jirisan charcoal extract. My hands felt moisturized after using it, so it felt a little different from using an ordinary cleansing product. If you are looking for a moisturizing low-pH cleansing foam, this may be a useful reference for its feel.
