Bucheon bakery milk breads and a next-day chicken sandwich: Easy White
Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong is a bakery near Sinjung-dong Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi, selling saeng-sikppang (fresh milk bread) baked with French butter. A Golden Beurre half loaf costs 6,000 won and an olive cheese half loaf 8,500 won; both were cut into 2.5cm slices, taken home for jam toast, and the leftovers became a chicken and fried egg sandwich the next morning. Even plain, the bread at Easy White Bread was clean-tasting and nutty enough to need nothing on it.
