Winter cleansing balm for dehydrated-oily skin: HEEDA charcoal balm
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm I used to remove makeup in winter. It melted smoothly with rolling and left my skin feeling less tight after rinsing, though I would still monitor my skin condition if it is sensitive or textured.

How did it feel on dehydrated-oily skin in winter?

I used it to remove makeup. The spatula was stored inside the container, so it was easy to scoop out, and the balm melted softly when it touched my skin.

Even deeper-colored makeup came off fairly smoothly, and my skin seemed to retain some moisture after washing. I especially liked that my skin felt less tight in winter.

How did I use it?

- I scooped out the cleansing balm with the spatula and applied it to my skin.
- I rolled it over my skin first until it melted into an oil with my body heat.
- I added a little water and mixed it to emulsify, then rinsed several times with lukewarm water.
- When I wanted a more thorough cleanse, I rolled it sufficiently once it had emulsified into a white mixture.

What skin concerns might it be worth considering for?

I tried it when post-cleanse tightness bothered me or when my skin texture seemed to lift after makeup. If you are concerned about uneven texture or sensitive skin, it would be best to use it while keeping an eye on your own skin condition.
