Cleansing balm for dehydrated combination skin: HEEDA Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a 100ml cleansing balm I tested on dehydrated combination skin in Korea. It removed waterproof eyeliner and heavy makeup after rolling it on dry skin and emulsifying it; I liked the moist finish after cleansing.

How did it feel on dehydrated combination skin?

I have dehydrated combination skin and had found it hard to settle on a cleansing balm, so I was worried about tightness after washing. This had a soft balm texture that seemed to melt with my skin temperature, and when I used it, it left a moist finish after cleansing.

How did it remove waterproof eyeliner?

I tested waterproof eyeliner, which I usually find difficult to remove, on the back of my hand. I took an appropriate amount, rolled it on without water, added a little water to emulsify it thoroughly, then rinsed several times with lukewarm water.

The balm melted softly even with the warmth of my hand and removed it. Rolling it for about one minute before rinsing worked well for me.

How did I cleanse heavy makeup?

For heavy makeup, I used the cleansing balm as a first cleanse, followed by cleansing foam as a second cleanse. This was the order I used when I wanted to remove makeup thoroughly.

Was the container and included spatula easy to use?

It came in black packaging with a one-touch lid. I could use the included spatula to scoop out the amount I needed.
