Dog-friendly pension near Yeongjin Beach, Gangneung: Yeongjin-gil 51
Yeongjin-gil 51 is a dog-friendly private rental house in Gangneung, Gangwon, with a 200-pyeong yard right in front of Yeongjin Beach. Five family members and their dog Choco stayed one night for their mom's 60th birthday, secretly setting up balloons on the second floor, grilling 6 geun of meat at the yard barbecue zone, sitting around the fire pit, and watching sunrise at Yeongjin Beach the next morning. The fully separate first and second floors were Yeongjin-gil 51's biggest strength: the relatives drinking late and the ones going to bed early never disturbed each other.
