Braised fish and eel set for two at a Uiwang fish restaurant

Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo Baegun Lake Branch is a wood-fired fish restaurant on Neungan-gil by Baegun Lake in Uiwang, Gyeonggi. Wanting both eel and fish, the writer ordered the two-person set plus a braised fish dish, took unlimited kimchi pancake and tteokbokki from the self-serve bar, and finished the rice pot as sungnyung (scorched rice tea). Grilled in an oven over 500°C, the fish came out crisp outside and moist inside with no fishy smell, making Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo an easy pick for a Korean set meal with parents at Baegun Lake.
