These days, it’s so convenient to have a stand as part of the setup when watching videos or working on a smartphone or tablet, right? How strong is the MagSafe magnet?

As you’d expect from a MagSafe stand, the magnetic hold is really strong. I even carry it around with my phone attached like this, haha. These days, I find myself checking for MagSafe functionality in every case and power bank, too. At home I had simply used a regular stand, but once I tried this, wow, it really is so convenient 🤭

How I used it as a lightweight vlogging tripod

When you want to film casually at a café or restaurant, it can feel a little awkward to get all set up and pull out a tripod, right? First, adjust the MagSafe stand so it is straight like this, then attach your smartphone.

Then lower the angle slightly, and it works nicely for naturally filming yourself working, eating, or recording food videos, you know? 😉 It is small and neat so it attracts less attention, and the smooth angle adjustment makes it quite useful.
