After going through all kinds of iPhone stands—clip-on stands, gooseneck stands, MagSafe tripods, you name it—I finally found this little gem that I absolutely love!

These days I leave it on my desk to watch dramas, then pop it into my eco bag when I go out. It has been so useful for taking photos and videos outside, too.

How portable is it?

The base measures 11.9 cm × 10.1 cm, the maximum height is about 13 cm, it weighs 190 g, and it has a maximum load of 350 g. At about half the size of a typical phone tripod, it was easy to slip into my bag when heading out.

When you pack a tripod, camera, and everything else to go out, your bag gets endlessly heavy, right? And it gets bulky too—basically just luggage!

And when you’re at a restaurant trying to film yourself eating, it can feel awkward to pull out a tripod and unfold its legs; but if you don’t use something like this, you have to prop your phone against the restaurant tissue box or a wall, and then the angle is all wrong.

The camera ends up exactly level with the food bowl, so you can’t even see the food. Plus, the camera points up at the sky and gives you a whole bunch of double chins... is that just me? Hahaha

Using the 비티냐 as both an iPad stand and iPhone stand solved those inconveniences! The 360° rotation is genuinely useful, too. You don’t need to remove the phone from the stand—just give the phone a little turn, and it rotates smoothly with a click-click-click.

How do you use the MagSafe magnetic stickers?

The 비티냐 MagSafe 360° rotating stand can be used as both an iPhone stand and an iPad stand. I thought it was such a thoughtful touch that there are two MagSafe magnetic stickers in the box.

Even if it is not an Apple product, you can make it compatible with a MagSafe stand simply by attaching one of these magnetic stickers! I put one on the back of the Galaxy Tab I have at home and attached it to the stand.

My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy S9 FE Plus: 285.4 × 185.4 × 6.5 mm and 627 g. It’s practically a laptop, haha! That is nearly twice the stand’s maximum load, but it did still attach and stay up.

It was unstable when changing the angle or rotating it, though, so I think this would be a much better fit for anyone using a smaller iPad or compact tablet.

To show how useful it is as an iPad stand, I filmed myself taking notes with it. When you put your iPad on the desk and keep looking down with your head bent, the back of your neck can get uncomfortable, right?

If using an iPad flat on the desk has been uncomfortable because of your posture, I recommend trying something like this. It may not seem like a big deal, but once you use it, you can’t go back. Haha

This is something I filmed recently while eating at a restaurant. This exact composition is what I had always wanted when taking photos outside.
