Seoul Korean BBQ near Yangjae Station: 85,000 won for two at Gukgojip
Gukgojip is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Dogok-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, a short walk from Exit 4 of Yangjae Station, with a large dining room spread across the first floor and the basement. Two people ate two servings of boneless yangnyeom galbi (marinated short rib), thick pork belly skin with samgyeopsal, gabrisal, rice and post-meal naengmyeon (cold noodles) for a total of 85,000 won, and the complimentary kongbiji jjigae (ground soybean stew) still had real bean texture. With roomy tables, Gukgojip works just as well for two as it does for a big work dinner.
