Cleansing balm for a first cleanse: HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal
In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm I chose for use with my fifth-grade child. It melted into an oil-like texture with fingertip warmth and felt easy to spread, though longer use is needed to assess highly individual changes such as skin texture.

What were the texture and scent of HEEDA Cleansing Balm like?

When I opened the lid, there was a subtle scent, and I also liked the clean packaging. Scooping it out with the included scoop, I found it had a rich, solid texture.

How does it melt on the skin?

When I warmed it slightly with my fingertips, it turned into a soft oil. After spreading it over my face and gently massaging it in, it felt like it adhered closely to my skin.

How did I use it on days when I wore makeup?

On days when I wore heavier makeup, I first removed my eye and lip makeup with oil. For the rest of my face, I spread the cleansing balm on with a massaging motion as my first cleanse.

What is my cleansing routine?

I usually double cleanse. After using the cleansing balm as my first cleanse, I followed with a light second cleanse using foam cleanser.

I chose it while looking for a cleansing product to use with my child, and I found the way the texture melted softly comfortable to use. However, for changes that vary widely by person, such as improved skin texture, it is worth observing over a period long enough to assess them directly.
