Weekday dinner set with perilla kalguksu and bossam: Sindorim
Sindorim Sambaekga is a Korean restaurant in Guro, Seoul, on the first floor of the Homeplus shopping complex near Sindorim Station Exit 2, serving kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup), bossam (boiled pork wraps) and jokbal (pig's trotters). On a weekday evening the writer swapped the kalguksu-bossam set to perilla kalguksu, finding the broth rich and nutty, and loved pairing the bossam with sweet persimmon-seasoned kimchi and dried radish strips. Sindorim Sambaekga works equally well for a quick drink or a full meal, making it a solid pick for office workers' lunch near Sindorim.
