Cleansing balm for dehydrated oily skin: HEEDA Charcoal Balm

How did it feel on dehydrated oily skin?

My skin tends to be dry, but my nose and chin produce a lot of sebum and are prone to breakouts, so I have dehydrated oily skin. Especially during seasonal changes, strong cleansing can leave my skin feeling tight, while cleansing that does not feel thorough leaves it feeling stuffy, so I pay close attention to balance in cleansing products.

The HEEDA cleansing balm looked firm at first, but it scooped up easily with the spatula and melted softly once applied to my skin. It did not feel particularly irritating while I massaged it in, so it was comfortable to use.

How did it remove sebum and heavy makeup?

Lately, I had been using cleansing oil because blackheads and sebum around my nose had been bothering me, but when it did not emulsify fully, it felt as though oil was left behind and that felt stuffy. This product was easy to massage in and emulsify, and I was pleased that my nose felt smooth after cleansing.

On days when patchy makeup was a concern, I tried cleansing even heavy point makeup such as tint, mascara, and eyeliner without a separate point-makeup remover. For me, it melted and came off smoothly.

Was there tightness or residue after cleansing?

It felt gentler than cleansing foam and lighter than cleansing oil. It felt fresh without an oily residue after washing, and on my skin, it finished moisturized without excessive dryness or tightness.

Were the container and tool convenient?

The black container stood out, and I could open it with its one-touch lid. It included a space to store the spatula and a lid, making it easy to put the tool away after use.
