Sticky rice tangsuyuk at a Yeosu shabu-shabu buffet: Tongkeun Shabu
Tongkeun Shabu is an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu buffet on the 3rd floor of the Hana Bank building at 25 Mangma-ro, near Yeosu City Hall. On a weekday evening visit, Tongkeun Shabu's pot was split half basic broth and half mala, served with pork neck and beef belly, plus self-bar sticky rice tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), carbonara and a chocolate fondue ice cream to finish. The two broths came to a boil at slightly different speeds, so one broth is the plan next time, but the value and the self-bar spread were both satisfying.
