Sinsa gizzard shad sashimi set with seafood ramyeon: Parang Haenyeojip
Parang Haenyeojip Sinsa Direct Store is a sashimi restaurant specialising in aged raw fish, a five-minute walk from Sinsa Station near Serosugil in Gangnam, Seoul. Order the seasonal jeoneo (gizzard shad) sashimi and a seafood ramyeon loaded with plump mussels comes with it as a set, and the fish is filleted rather than chopped bone-in, so it is soft with barely any bone. Two people added rock octopus and haenyeo bossam, ate until they were stuffed, and still called it good value for a Garosugil date.
