Visiting as a pair, the writer ordered one sake chazuke (salmon) and one unagi chazuke (eel), each arriving as an individual tray with side dishes, seaweed and broth, eaten in the order the owner explained: toppings first, then seaweed and side dishes, then the broth poured over. Clean-tasting salmon and sweet-savory eel were too close to call, so two people are best off ordering one of each and sharing.
