Jeju-style Korean dinner near Naebang Station: Naegohyang Jeju

Naegohyang Jeju is a Jeju-themed Korean restaurant in a basement space near Naebang Station and Bangbae Seorae Village in Seocho, Seoul. For an anniversary dinner the writer ordered the Hallasan set menu at 48,000 won per person, which arrived course by course: assorted sashimi, seafood stew, braised mackerel, hairtail grilled on a brazier and cut at the table by staff, and abalone hot pot rice. With unusually meaty hairtail and sujeonggwa (cinnamon persimmon punch) to finish, Naegohyang Jeju suits a special-occasion dinner in Bangbae-dong.
