Gasan dinner spot in Seoul for yukhoe, suyuk and gomtang: Yukhwang
Yukhwang is a hanwoo yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) and gomtang (beef bone soup) restaurant that recently opened on the first floor of Hanla One&One Tower, next to Gasan Digital Complex Station in Geumcheon, Seoul. On an evening visit, Yukhwang served yukhoe for 27,000 won and a half plate of suyuk (sliced boiled beef) for 15,000 won over drinks, with gomtang at 13,000 won added to finish as a meal, while the mungtigi (fresh raw beef) that the writer had hoped for was not prepared that day. Yukhwang is a good place in Gasan Digital Complex to handle both a filling meal and a light drinking session in one seat.
