Sushi Hibi is an omakase sushi restaurant in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, that opened in late April on Dangsan-ro 32-gil, between Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station and Yangpyeong Station. The 50,000 won lunch course runs from flounder, red seabream, horse mackerel, sweet shrimp and monkfish liver through torch-seared jaetbangeo (amberjack) with yuzu sauce, tuna back meat, mackerel, futomaki, tamago, udon served broth-first and a strawberry sorbet finish. Sushi Hibi is a relaxed, unpretentious Yeongdeungpo omakase, easy to enjoy on a lunch date or as a quiet meal for one.
