Shinsegae Gangnam cake shop, hotel-room fig pistachio No.1: Chef Cho
Chef Cho Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam is a 20-year-old cake brand in Sweet Park on B1 of Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch in Seocho, Seoul. On a Friday afternoon I paid for the last fig pistachio cake in the No.1 size (58,000 won), picked it up at 6pm, and shared it in a hotel room the next night. A full day later the cake still held its shape, and the pistachio cream was barely sweet, so the whole No.1 disappeared between two people.
