Nonhyeon Station gastropub with cheese potato pancake: Boktae Pocha
Boktae Pocha is a Korean gastropub between Nonhyeon and Sinnonhyeon stations in Seocho, Seoul. Two of us ordered the spicy chives pork belly at 23,000 won and the cheese potato pancake at 22,000 won: the pork belly carried a smoky grilled aroma and was far milder than its three-chili rating suggested, while the cheese potato pancake, crisp potato under a thick layer of melted cheese, was the dish worth coming back for. With its clean, calm room, Boktae Pocha suits a date or a quieter second round after dinner.
