Gwanghwamun private room restaurant: ₩60,000 beef course at Hwarodam
Hwarodam is a beef yakiniku course restaurant in Jongno, Seoul, a 5-minute walk from Gwanghwamun Station Exit 8. The Hwarodam Course (₩60,000) brings salad, raw squid salad, a mixed beef platter, seasonal soup, fried shrimp, maki and buckwheat noodles, and the Australian lamb chop added on top was worth it — no gamey smell at all, alongside a springy odeng-tang (fish cake soup). With private rooms and tented group seating upstairs, Hwarodam works well for a company dinner.
