Gwanghwamun gyukatsu restaurant, Yamagata curry to share: Hurato
Hurato Sikdang Gyeongbokgung Main Branch is a gyukatsu (breaded beef cutlet) restaurant in the basement food court of the Royal Building, right in front of Exit 1 of Gwanghwamun Station in Jongno, Seoul. Two diners shared one gyukatsu (19,500 won) and one Yamagata mince curry (14,500 won), grilling slices for about 30 seconds on the brazier set at each table and dipping them in wasabi and soy sauce, the best combination of the night. The curry arrived topped with two large shrimp and a poached egg, making it an easy second dish to order alongside the gyukatsu.
