Pre-movie dinner near Cheonho Lotte Cinema: mild octopus at Jjuksami
Jjuksami Cheonho Main Branch is a spicy octopus (jjukkumi) restaurant on Cheonho's octopus alley in Gangdong, Seoul, about 200m from Cheonho Station Exit 6. On a weekday at 7pm, before a movie at the nearby Lotte Cinema, the writer ordered the octopus, shrimp and pork belly set for two with the dadaegi chilli paste left out for milder heat, plus the Rich Gold Cheese Plate and a free spaghetti noodle sari (extra noodles). For anyone dining with someone who can't take much spice, the less-spicy order at Jjuksami is exactly right.
