Hapjeong shabu-shabu with fresh kalguksu in spicy broth: Nahonsha

Nahonsha is a solo shabu-shabu restaurant on Dokmak-ro near Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul, with a bar-table layout where every seat has its own built-in induction stove. On a last-minute meetup with a friend, each person chose spicy broth for their own pot, added the fresh kalguksu noodles included in the set plus a side of konjac noodles, and added garlic and minced chili to the dipping sauce straight from the personal kiosk. Between the wood-tone interior and the open kitchen, Nahonsha works just as well for a solo meal as for two.
