Bakery 200m from Jongno 3-ga Exit 7: coffee bread to go, Munhwa
Munhwa Bakery is a small neighborhood bakery in Jongno, Seoul, about 200m from Exit 7 of Jongno 3-ga Station in the direction of Changdeokgung Palace. Walking between Ikseon-dong and Changdeokgung, I took home one coffee bread — a white roll with a soft coffee aroma — and one large garlic baguette, which the staff cut into easy-to-eat pieces when asked. Munhwa Bakery sells only bread baked that day and passes leftovers on to welfare facilities, making it an easy takeout stop to fold into a Jongno alley walk.
