Gwangjin solo ramen after study: shoyu and fried gyoza at Mentsuru
Mentsuru Children's Grand Park Branch is a ramen restaurant in Gwangjin, Seoul, one minute from Exit 4 of Children's Grand Park Station. After a study session at the school library, the writer came in alone for shoyu ramen and fried gyoza, and next to the shio ramen from an earlier visit the shoyu tasted deeper in umami while the shio was cleaner. With half the room in bar seats facing an open kitchen, Mentsuru is easy whether you come alone or with a group.
