Gangnam barber shop for thick, flaring side hair: Coup Barber & Coffee
Coup Barber & Coffee is a men's-only barber shop on Apgujeong-ro in Gangnam, Seoul, that runs a café in the same space. My husband, whose hair is thick and coarse enough that the sides flare out within days, had a cut plus a down perm that took about 1 hour 30 minutes, with the barber repeatedly checking the back line and how it connected to the sides. The swept-back top was left untouched while only the sides and back were slimmed down, so morning styling is far easier now.
