Rainy-day mala shabu-shabu with potato dumplings, Hapjeong: Nahonsha

Nahonsha is a solo shabu-shabu restaurant between Hapjeong Station and Sangsu Station in Mapo, Seoul. On a rainy day, a window-side solo seat cost about ₩28,000 for mala broth shabu-shabu with added potato dumplings, glass noodles, meat and fried tofu pouch, plus free broth refills. Spicy but not greasy, landing somewhere between mala tang and shabu-shabu, it made for a surprisingly nice solo meal.
