Mapo pork cutlet restaurant for solo diners: Katsu Monster
Katsu Monster Yeonnam Main Branch is a pork cutlet restaurant in Mapo, Seoul. I tried the 21,000 won Triple Katsu with a 4,000 won small curry at the solo-dining counter, with wasabi and napa cabbage doenjang soup cutting the richness. Verdict: the rice hardened later, but the crisp-outside, juicy-inside cutlets stayed on my mind.
