Jongno 3-ga Korean BBQ picnic-basket utensils and Tapgol Set for 3
Tapgol Gongwon Jongno 3-ga Branch is an outdoor-only frozen pork belly restaurant near Exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga Station in Seoul, with tables laid out across from the stone wall of Tapgol Park. On a weekend visit at 7pm there was a 30-minute wait behind 4 groups, and three of us shared the Tapgol Set (55,000 won), steamed egg and kimchi fried rice (6,000 won), taking utensils and soju and beer glasses from the picnic basket set between the seats. The meat quality, the side dishes and the stone-wall setting all satisfied, making Tapgol Gongwon a place worth returning to on a rainy autumn night.
