Byuazeu (Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare) is a total beauty shop near Hongik Univ. Station in Mapo, Seoul, offering gel nails, lash extensions and skincare. The writer brought her mom, whose nails keep cracking and splitting, along with her dog, and the mom chose pink gel nails with marble detail from Byuazeu's monthly art menu. Gentle cuticle care, neat finishing and a space where the dog could relax made Byuazeu a satisfying visit.

Jonggak Korean BBQ date with my fiancé, then Cheonggyecheon: Yukrab

Yukrab Jongno (육랩 종로점) is a beef and lamb chop Korean BBQ restaurant on the 3rd floor of a building, a 2–3 minute walk from Exit 4 of Jonggak Station in Jongno, Seoul. After work, the writer and her fiancé sat at a window seat with the window open and shared the Yukrab set (jingalbisal beef rib finger meat, toshisal hanger steak, lamb chops, doenjang jjigae soybean paste stew and 10-second grilled cheese) with Jinro soju, then walked along Cheonggyecheon Stream.
