Mapo handmade burgers and onion rings: Quokka Bite

Quokka Bite is a handmade burger restaurant behind Gyeongui Line Forest Park between Gongdeok and Daeheung stations in Mapo, Seoul. I tried the Nashville Quokka Hot Chicken Set, Grilled Quokka Burger, and onion rings; the thick, crisp chicken and gently sweet onion rings stood out, though the comfortable dining room is small.

Seogwipo seafood restaurant galchi-jorim set: Jejurowoon

Jejurowoon Cheonghaewon Seongsan Ilchulbong Branch is a seafood restaurant in Seogwipo, Jeju. I visited for a late lunch for two and ordered the A Set with braised hairtail, grilled tilefish, and pot-cooked rice. The braised hairtail was generous, but the crisp, easy-to-eat grilled tilefish stood out most.
